Angel

About a love in which I threw myself into, and the boy who broke my heart at seventeen. Although you weren’t my first love, and you won’t be my last; and although it left a you-sized hole in my beating chest when I found out I was just physical and suffering from unrequited love, thank you. Thank you for the laughter and the messages and the quirky way you talked that left me warm all over. Thank you, most of all, for teaching me that I don’t need another - for pushing me closer to loving myself.
